Do gate posts need concrete footings?
Most substantial entrance pillars require properly designed footings and structural cores. The exact approach depends on height, weight, soil conditions and gate hardware.
Can electrical and gate equipment be incorporated?
Yes. Conduit, lighting, intercoms and gate hardware should be planned before the masonry is closed in, usually in coordination with the relevant trades.
Can you match the stone on the house?
Often, yes. We can work with matching or complementary stone, mortar colours and cap details to make the entrance feel connected to the property.
Do you build both new entrances and replacements?
Yes. We construct new estate entrances and can also rebuild deteriorated or poorly constructed existing pillars.
